Install a depth gauge (commercially available product) "8"
for measurement on crankshaft "6" and crankcase "7".
Measure dimension 1 on the "a" side of the depth gauge,
dimension 2 on the "b" side. Place a horizontal bar or a
base on the crankcase and install a depth gauge, as
shown in the illustration.

Select and install the parts below.
• Adjustment shim
TIP
Adjust so that the clearance value after adjustment is 0.2
mm or less.
