Lower Honeycomb
Starting at one lower end of the honeycomb,
use a needle-nose plier to carefully compress
and lift a corner . Work along the edge a few
cells at a time until the honeycomb is free of
the retainer . Clean and dry the honeycomb,
then replace in reverse order .
Note that a damaged honeycomb must be
replaced to maintain refrigeration efficiency .
To avoid serious injury or death from electri-
cal shock, always disconnect the electrical
power at the main disconnect when servicing
or replacing any electrical component. This
includes, but is not limited to, such items as
doors, lights, fans, heaters, and thermostats.
