Flash ROM
The PC uses one 256 KB x 8 Flash ROM and one 128 KB x 8 200 ns Flash ROM. In
addition to the base HP BIOS, the Flash contains SETUP, video BIOS, error messages, and
ISA and PCI initialization. During programming of the Flash ROM, the power supply switch
and the reset button are disabled to prevent accidental interruption.
