Video Controller
The S3 Vision864 video controller offers full compatibility with VGA, CGA, HGC, and MDA.
In addition, its features are enhanced beyond Super VGA by hardware that accelerates
graphical user interface operation in environments such as Microsoft Windows® or OS/2
Presentation Manager.
The enhanced features include:
64-bit pixel bus
direct connectivity to PCI bus
a true acceleration for 8, 16 and 32-bit pixel depths
fully software programmable Pixel Clock Generator
supports 2 MB DRAM
