If You Cannot Solve a Problem

If you cannot solve the problem after having referred to the
information in this chapter, contact Canon Customer Care
Center at 1-800-OK-CANON Monday through Friday between
the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. EST. On-line support is
also available 24 hours a day at the website http://www.
canontechsupport.com.
Please have the following information ready when you
contact Canon:
• Product name (imageCLASS D550)
• Serial number (a character string which consists of three
alphabets and a 5-digit number and is indicated on the
rating label located on the rear side of the machine)
Rating label
• Place of purchase
• Nature of problem
• Steps you have taken to solve the problem and the results
WARNING
If the machine makes strange noises or emits smoke or
odd odor
Turn OFF the power switch immediately, disconnect the
power cord, and contact Canon Customer Care Center.
Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the machine
yourself.
IMPORTANT
If you attempt to repair the machine by yourself
It may void the limited warranty.
