Make sure...
The mouse cable is
correctly connected.
The mouse is clean.
The mouse itself is not
defective.
If the system starts and you still have a problem, see
Diagnostics Tools" on page 4-9.
How
Plug the cable into any USB port. Ports are
labeled for easy identification.
Clean the mouse ball as shown below.
Replace the mouse with unit that is known
to work or try the mouse with another
