Wire connection
REQUIREMENT
Connect the wires matching the terminal numbers. Incorrect connection causes a trouble.
Pass the wires through the bushing of wire connection holes of the indoor unit.
Keep a margin (Approx. 100 mm) on a wire to hang down the electrical control box at servicing or other purpose.
The low-voltage circuit is provided for the remote controller. (Do not connect the high-voltage circuit)
Before performing wiring work in the electrical control box, remove the
air filter and the cover of the box (fixed with 2 screws).
Remove screw A, and loosen screw B.
Pull up and open the electrical control box cover.
Tighten the screws of the terminal block firmly, and fix the wires with
the cord clamps attached to the electrical control box. (Do not apply
tension to the connecting section of the terminal block.)
Slide the electrical control box cover to install it. Do not pinch the wire
and make the gap as small as possible when installing the cover.

to the following table according to the cable type and diameter.
* Cable clamp can be attached on either right or left side.
When twin system are connected, clamp two cables with one
cable clamp.

• For using the wired remote controller RBC-AMS55E*,
refer to the Owner's Manual attached to the wired
remote controller.
REQUIREMENT
When you use this air conditioner for the first
time, it takes approx. 5 minutes until the remote
controller becomes available after power-on.

Normal settings were made when the indoor unit
was shipped from factory.
Change the indoor unit settings as required.
Use the wired remote controller to change the
settings.
* The settings cannot be changed using
the wireless remote controller, sub remote
controller, or remote-controller-less system
(for central remote controller only). Therefore,
install the wired remote controller to change the
settings.
