My Philips Avent Baby monitor does not
charge
It can happen that the parent unit or baby unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor is not
charging. Use these possible causes and solutions to try and fix this yourself.
The power adapter is not connected
Make sure that baby unit or parent unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor is connected with the
power adapter. You might have to try different positions before the power adapter is connected.
The power adapter is at fault
Both the parent unit and baby unit come with a power adapter. Check to see if the power adapter
is at fault by swapping the baby unit adapter with the parent unit adapter.
Issue traveling with power adapter
Did the issue 'travel' with one of the power adapter? This indicates that the power adapter is at
fault. You can buy a new power adapter at philips.com/parts-and-accesories.
Issue not at the power adapter
If the issue persists and does not 'travel' with one of the power adapters, there might be a
technical defect with one of the units. Please contact us for further assistance.

If the image on the video display of your Philips Avent Baby monitor is blurry, grainy or

Brightness is set too low
Increase the display brightness of your Philips Avent Baby monitor on the parent unit. Press the
left or right part of the control button to adjust the brightness.
Note: If the brightness is set to a high level, the parent unit consumes more power.
