    4 Get started Insert the rechargeable battery. Charge the parent unit Note • Make sure your hands and the unit are dry when you insert and remove the rechargeable battery. Do as follows to charge the parent unit before you use it for the first time or when the parent Reattach the lid.

    Insert the plug into the baby unit and put the adapter in a wall socket. • Charging normally takes 5 hours, but it takes longer when the parent unit is switched on during charging. To keep the charging time as short as possible, switch off the parent unit during charging.
