Installing a New Hard Drive

To install drive C

After following the instructions for removing drive C, use the next procedure to
install the new hard drive.
1. Gently press downwards on the hard drive while you slide it into the drive bay.
2. Make sure the drive is fully inserted.
3. Replace the screw and security cover.
4. Replace the battery or attach ac power.
5. Press the reset button.

To install your OmniBook software

The following procedure describes how to install your original OmniBook software
using the OmniBook's internal CD-ROM drive—or an external CD-ROM drive
connected to the OmniBook's docking system.
1. Plug in the ac adapter in case the battery is low.
2. Install the CD-ROM drive in your OmniBook.
–or–
Connect a CD-ROM drive to the docking system and dock the OmniBook.
