Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

Disconnect the power connector cable (1) from the system board.

Remove the power connector (2) from the clip built into the base enclosure.

Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
