[c] CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS
a) Default Dip Switch Settings
The dip switch is factory-adjusted to the following positions:
S1 Dip Switch No.
KMD-270AA (50Hz)
KMD-270AA (60Hz)
KMD-270AWA (50Hz)
KMD-270AWA (60Hz)

*1 Anti-Slush Control (Ver. 2.0) – Change to *2 control if too much white ice is produced
(auxiliary code V2 only).
*2 Anti-Slush Control (Ver. 1.1) – Control to reduce white ice has been added. See "II. 3. [c]
m) Anti-Slush Control" and "III. 3. TIMING CHART" for details.
Do not adjust the S2 dip switch. These must be left in the factory default position, or the unit
will not operate properly.
b) Harvest Timer (S1 dip switch 1 & 2)
Used for adjustment of the harvest timer. The harvest timer starts counting when the
thermistor reads a certain temperature at the evaporator outlet.
