Using the News Function of WIRES-X

Transmitting an audio message

You can transmit audio messages spoken into the microphone as data to a local node, or
node or room on the Internet.
Audio data is categorized into the following 2 types:
EMERGENCY:
NEWS STATION: Routine message. You can listen to the message anytime you

Display the category list of the local node

or touch the screen to select [EMERGENCY]

Speak into [MIC] while pressing [PTT] on the
microphone
Message transmission will start and "UPLOAD" will
flash on the screen.
Tip
Even after displaying the data list by touching
[EMERGENCY], you can transmit the message by
pressing [PTT].
Emergency information. Depending on the setting on the node or
room, the information is automatically delivered periodically for a
certain period after the data is registered, and 2 hours later, the
message will be deleted automatically.
