When a device is connected, if it is password protected, the user is prompted to enter the device supervisor password.

First-time association occurs after physically connecting Hub with the PC via USB cable. This is also called “pairing” the two entities. After the first-time connection/association, future association is handled automatically, so that no user intervention is necessary.
