❒ With Windows 2000 or Win-
dows XP, do not select "Stan-
dard TCP/IP Port" as the port
for LAN-Fax Driver. If "Stan-
dard TCP/IP Port" is specified,
error notification will not be
sent, even if an error occurs dur-
ing data transmission from the
computer to NIC FAX for LAN-
Fax faxing or printing. See p.165
"When Using Standard TCP/IP
Port".

Click [Specify Address].

Enter the IP address or host name
assigned to NIC FAX, and then
click [OK].
When entering a host name, first
click [Host Name] and then enter the
host name in the box to the right.
