•Wipe off the liquid in the battery case carefully
before replacing the batteries.
•If you touch the liquid, wash it off with water.
•If the liquid get into your eyes, wash your eyes
with a lot of water and then consult a doctor.

Moisture condensation

If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold
place to a warm place, moisture may condense
inside the camcorder, on the surface of the tape,
or on the lens. In this condition, the tape may
stick to the head drum and be damaged or the
unit may not operate correctly. To prevent
possible damage under these circumstances, the
camcorder is furnished with moisture sensors.
Please, take the following precautions.
Inside the camcorder
If there is moisture inside the camcorder, the
beep sounds and the { indicator flashes. If this
happens, none of the functions except cassette
ejection will work. Open the cassette
compartment, turn off the camcorder, and leave
it about 1 hour. When 6 indicator flashes at the
same time, the cassette is inserted in the
camcorder. Eject the cassette, turn off the
camcorder, and leave also the cassette about 1
hour. The camcorder can be used again if the {
indicator does not appear when the power is
turned on again.

Конденсация влаги
Если видеокамера переносится прямо из
холодного места в теплое, влага может
конденсироваться в видеокамере, на
поверхности видеоленты или объектива. В
таком состоянии видеолента может
прилипнуть к барабану видеоголовки и
повредиться или аппарат может не работать
нормально. Во избежание возможного
повреждения в таких условиях видеокамера
оснащена датчиками влаги.
Принять меры предосторожности, как
нижеследующие:
В видеокамере
При конденсации влаги в видеокамере
раздается звуковая сигнализация и мигает
индикация {. В этом случае ни одна из
функций видеокамеры, кроме извлечения
кассеты, не действует. Открыть кассетный
отсек, выключить видеокамеру и оставить ее
примерно на 1 час. Когда индикация 6
мигает одновременно, кассета вставлена в
видеокамеру. Извлечь кассету, выключить
видеокамеру и оставить также кассету
примерно на 1 час. Если индикатор { не
исчезает, видеокамеру можно опять
использовать, если снова включить питание.
