- Page 3 Installing the Hopper Mount Brackets Raise the deck to the transport position. Raise the back of the machine up and support the machine with jack stands. CAUTION Raising the mower deck for service or maintenance relying solely on mechanical or hydraulic jacks could be dangerous. The mechanical or hydraulic jacks may not be enough support or may malfunction allowing the unit to fall, which could cause injury.

- Page 6 Installing the Blower Drive Sheave Remove the deck drive belt from around the right hand spindle sheave. Support the right mower blade and shaft so that it will not fall out of the deck when the right sheave nut is removed. Remove the right sheave nut and sheave from the spindle shaft.

Slide the hopper hinges onto the hopper frame pins. Make sure the seal is positioned around the brackets where the bags mount. Assembling the Tubes Slip the upper and the lower tubes together. Insert the upper tube into the hopper seal – push in then pull out so that the seal is extended outward. - Page 9 Installing the ROPS Pin To prevent the ROPS bar from damaging the hopper, install the ROPS pin assembly.
