Handling precautions

Intended use
This device is intended to be used for acquiring digital images, but not for clinical diagnostic purposes.
Precautions for use
1. If this product is operated continuously for a long time period, the foreign objects, etc. attached to the inside of
camera may be reflected to the observed image. If the attachment of foreign objects is suspected, contact Olympus.
However, if you intend to operate this product continuously for a long time period, it is recommended to apply the
patch file (to this product) that suppresses the generation of foreign objects. You can download the patch file from
URL shown below.

2. This product is a precision instrument. Handle it with care and avoid subjecting it to a sudden or severe impact.
Particularly, be sure to observe following cautions. Otherwise, the product may be damaged.

The camera head is vulnerable to impact. Do not subject it to a sudden or severe impact when attaching
to the microscope or removing from the microscope. Also, use the dedicated packaging box during
transportation.
·
When transporting the PC equipped with PCIe interface board using transportation vehicles (car, truck, etc.), be
sure to package it.
·
When moving the PC equipped with PCIe interface board using the cart without packaging, be careful not to
allow it to collide with nearby walls or desks, etc. and get over the steps slowly and gently.
·
The PCIe interface board is vulnerable to impact. Do not subject it to a sudden or severe impact when

installing the PC equipped with PCIe interface board.
