3-1 Attaching the camera head

· Do not touch the C-mount thread, since it is sharp.
NOTE
· Be careful not to drop the camera head and the C-mount
camera adapter when attaching or detaching them.
· Be sure to attach the C-mount camera adapter by screwing
it into the camera head securely. It the C-mount camera
adapter is not attached securely, the camera head may
drop during operation or the sufficient performance cannot
be obtained during image acquisition.

The procedures to use the C-mount 0.63X camera adapter U-TV0.63XC
are described below.

Remove the C-mount lens cap a .

Screw the C-mount camera adapter b into the C-mount thread c
at the bottom of the camera head until it stops.

Attach the C-mount camera adapter to the camera port of the
microscope.
· The screw (LOCK/FOCUS) d have to be operated while

adjusting the parfocality. Attach the C-mount camera adapter
in the direction so that you can operate the screws (LOCK/
FOCUS) easily.
· Be sure to adjust the parfocality between the C-mount camera
adapter and the eyepieces. Otherwise, the focus of the image
through the eyepieces and the image through the camera may
