5. While the above FL display appears, check the light power value,
and check that the value is not out of the reference range (5.4±
0.1mW).
6. Press MD EJECT button on the unit to remove the laser power
meter.
7. If the laser power value is out of reference range, turn off the
power to start "laser power adjustment". If not, continue to the
procedure for "Offset Automatic Adjustment".
12.3.1.5. Offset Automatic Adjustment
1. At service mode, press the number keys, "10", "2" and then "2" on
the remote controller. (Offset automatic adjustment mode is
activated.)
FL Display: OFFSET ADJ
2. When the adjustment is successful, the FL display shows the
message, [OFFSET OK]. If there is an error, the display shows
[OFFSET NG].
* When [OFFSET NG] appears, check and follow "Troubleshooting
Flowchart".
3. Continue to "RAM Automatic Adjustment"
12.3.1.6. RAM Automatic Adjustment
1. At service mode, press the number keys, [
on the remote controller.
FL Display: [RAM ADJ]
2. Insert the specified RAM disc. (RAM automatic adjustment starts.)
3. When the adjustment is successful, the FL display shows the
message, [RAM ADJ. OK]. If there is an error, the display shows
[RAM ADJ. NG].
* When [RAM ADJ. NG] appears, check and follow
"Troubleshooting Flowchart".
4. Press [MD EJECT] button on the unit to remove the RAM disc.
5. Continue to "ROM Automatic Adjustment".
