Shooting at a Fixed Distance

To shoot with the shooting distance fixed,
follow the steps below.
Turn the Mode Dial to 5
When shooting in Scene Mode, set to 4 (Scene
Mode) then select a Shooting Mode.
When shooting movies, set to 3 (Movie Mode).
Press the M
M button.

The Shooting menu appears.
Select [FOCUS] and then press the O
button.
• Selecting [SNAP] will fix the shooting distance to 2.5 meters.
• Selecting [ ] will fix the shooting distance to infinity. This feature is useful to shoot a distant view.
