• The Link Adapter will operate with either a 100/200 VAC or 12 to 24 V (AC or DC) power supply.
• The repeater input terminals should be shorted during normal use.
Note (1) Always short the repeater input terminals when using the Link Adapter. The Link Adapter will not
operate unless the terminals are shorted.
(2) Always place the protective caps on unused optical connectors. When the cap is not in place, it is
possible for scattered light to cause transmission errors.
(3) When the Link Adapter is installed in an office or on a desk, take steps to prevent the power supply
terminals from being touched accidentally, which can cause an electric shock.
