1. PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL NOTES

CAUTION
Please read this instruction manual carefully before installing and using this product. If you encounter
any problems that are not addressed in this manual, please contact your local Pentair' s distributor.
WARNING:
• To prevent damage to the system or property,
electric shock or personal injuries, carefully
read and follow this manual.
• Do not use with water that is microbiologically
unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection before or after the system.
• This reverse osmosis system will not protect
against disease causing bacteria or remove
naturally-occurring harmless bacteria.
• The water purification system must be installed
to the cold water supply line.
• Avoid installing this product to pipelines with
water hammer effects for extended period of
time. Otherwise, an additional pressure control
valve must be Installed.
• Do not place the product under direct sunlight,
or in places with high temperature or outdoors.
• Keep the product away from heat sources.
• This product contains eIectronic components.
Do not immerse or expose to water.
• RO System must be protected against
freezing, which can cause cracking of the RO
components and water leakage. Any damage
caused by freezing is not covered by warranty.
• Make certain that installation complies with all
state and local laws and regulations.
• The installation, commissioning and
maintenance of this product must be carried
out by qualified technicians designated by an
authorized Pentair' s distributor.
• Please contact your local Pentair authorized
distributor for product installation,
commissioning, maintenance and after-sales
services.
• Before installation, please ensure that the
equipment is turned off and that the cold water
supply valve is closed.
• During Installation, consider the convenience
of use and the room for movement during
maintenance.
• Do not touch the power plug with wet hands,
and disconnect the power supply during
installation.
• Before using the water purification system,
make sure that the cold water valve is open,
and that there is water pressure in the pipe
network (water supply available).
• It is normal for small amount of carbon
particles to appear after installation or filter
replacement. Flush the system until carbon
particles are cleared.
• Do not operate the system when inlet water
temperature range extends beyond 5-38°C.
• Your water must be within required limits for
satisfactory operation. If not, your membrane
life may be shortened and your warranty will
be void (see Section 3.3. Specifications;
on page 6).
• Children and persons with disability should
use this product under the supervision of a
guardian.
• The system must be maintained according
to manufacturer' s recommendations,
including replacement of filter cartridges. The
contaminants or other substances removed
or reduced by the selected cartridge are not
necessarily in your water. Ask your local water
municipality for a copy of their water analysis,
or have your water tested by a reputable water
testing lab.
