When the 5.5"x8.5" tray is selected and the copier detects that the original is placed in
portrait orientation, Rotation rotates the original image by 90 and the copy is made with
the appropriate AMS ratio to fit the portrait style of the copy paper.
Original

180 Rotation

In 1-2 copy mode, this function arranges the even pages of the simplex portrait originals
upside down on the reverse side of duplex copies.
In 2-1 copy mode, this function arranges the reverse sides of duplex portrait originals
which read upside down to make normal simplex copies.
180 Rotation functions when 1-2 or 2-1 copy mode is selected, and the originals are placed in
the landscape orientation.
This function is effective for portrait originals. For landscape originals, this function may not
result satisfactorily.
