7.1

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING
Disconnect the device from the on-board power supply before cleaning and maintenance.
Caution
Never clean the cooling unit under running water or even in the sink.
Regularly clean any surfaces that come into contact with food as well as the accessible elements of
the drainage systems.
Do not use caustic cleaning agents or hard objects to clean the cooling unit as these items could
damage the appliance – risk of accident/loss of functionality!
– Clean the device inside and outside occasionally with a damp cloth.
– Ensure that the ventilation openings in the device are free of dust and dirt so that the heat generated dur-
ing use can be dissipated and to prevent damage to the device.
7.2

Storage

If the device is not used for a long time:
– Switch off the device
– Defrost the device
– Clean and dry the device
– Leave the lid open to prevent mould from developing in the
device
7.3

Warranty

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is faulty, please contact your specialist retailer.
To enable repairs and warranty claims to be processed, please enclose the following documents:
◆ A copy of the invoice with the date of purchase
◆ The reason for the complaint or a description of the fault

Troubleshooting

Fault
Your cool box is not working (but
the connector is plugged in).
Possible cause
There is no power to the 12-V
socket (cigarette lighter) in the ve-
hicle.
The battery has insufficient
charge.
The internal fan or the cooling ele-
ment is faulty.
