LED Indicator
The LED Indicator is conveniently located on the top of the radio, making it easy for the user to see
at all times, even when the radio is being worn on a belt.
The LED Indicator provides instant visual feedback to the user regarding power-up, power level,
transmit/receive state, scanning and battery state.
Different modes of LED Indicator operation can be selected using the CPS to provide different types
of information. The information provided by the different LED Indicator modes is summarised below:
Normal Operation :
Power Up
Temporary continuous GREEN
TX/RX
Continuous RED
Blinking RED
Scan*
Blinking GREEN
Low Battery
Blinking RED while transmitting
Tx Power Operation:
As above except when the radio is transmitting, the following operation occurs to indicate whether
high or low power is selected:
Tx Battery Operation:
As above except when the radio is transmitting, the following operation occurs to provide detailed
information about the battery charge state:
