2. Prerequisites

1. Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 with software version 2 or higher (TZT2BB requires v8.01 or higher)
2. Omnisense camera
3. RJ4-5CN-STR (RJ45 Female-Female coupler) for connection of the TZT3 to Omnisense Junction Box
4. 4MM Allen to open Omnisense junction box
5. BNC Female to RCA male (either connector or cable) to temporarily connect Omnisense camera to analog video
port of TZT3 for initial setup

3. Initial Setup

1. Using the 10M Power/Network cable, connect one
end to the camera and the RJ45 end to the Camera
Port Inside the Junction Box
2. Using the 2M Network cable, connect the waterproof
RJ45 to the controller to the other end to the first
Controller/MFD Port Junction Box
3. Using the 1.5M Analog Video Cable connect the gold
connector to the A/V connector inside the Junction
box and connect the BNC end to your BNC Female to
RCA adaptor. Then plug the RCA adaptor into Video
In 1 port of the TZT3 MFD
4. Using the 1M power cable, connect one end to the
boat's 12VDC panel and the other end to the
Junction Box to supply 12VDC to the Omnisense
system. Use White for + and black for (-)
5. Using the user supplied shielded RJ45 to RJ45,
connect one end into the Junction Box to and the
other end to an open port on the HUB the TZT3 MFD
is connected to
Tip: By temporarily connecting analog video from the Omnisense
camera to the TZT3 MFD you save yourself from needing a laptop for
setup. Camera setup can be done with the TZT3 with analog video.
