Next, set and register the network variable name and other information on
the Network Variables screen.
The following explains how to assign output variables.
(1) Click <Lock up> on the Network Variables screen to unlock the edit lock.
(2) Enter "PLC1_RO" in <Variable>. (3) Enter "ARRAY[0..9] OF WORD" in
<Data type>. (4) Enter "PLC1_input relay" in <Comment>. (5) Select "MS"
for <I/O Speed>.
This completes the assignment of the station variable (PLC1_RO).
Perform the following input operations as necessary. (Note 1)
Next, select "2: IS_X" in (6) In Node. (7) <Assign to Inputs> Click to assign
the variable name and other information to the In Node (2: IS_X).

Remark
 For output variables, first register the variable name, type, and comment in the
corresponding Talker block, and set the I/O speed. Next, assign a variable to the In
Node.
(Note 1) When the In Node (input side) is [other station], there is no problem in
operation even if no input variable is assigned to the In Node. As shown in the above
example, when an input variable is assigned to a In Node, the variable name and
other information are only recorded in the In Node.
