Next, set and register the network variable name and other information on
the Network Variables screen.
The following explains how to assign input variables.
(1) Click <Lock up> on the Network Variables screen to unlock the edit lock.
(2) Enter "PLC1_RI" in <Variable>. (3) Enter "ARRAY[0..9] OF WORD" in
<Data type>. (4) Enter "PLC1_input relay" in <Comment>. (5) Select "1:
IS911" in <In Node>. (6) Click <Assign to Inputs> to display PLC1_RI in (7)
<Variable> <Data type>. (8) Select "MS" for <I/O Speed>.
This completes the assignment of the station variable (PLC1_RI).

Remark
 For input variables, first assign the variable name, type, and comment to the
corresponding Talker Block. Next, assign a variable to the In Node and set the I/O
Speed.
