COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! HOT SURFACE
•
Griddle surfaces may be hot to the touch and can cause burns.
•
Cooking surface will be very hot during use and can cause severe injury.
1.
Turn temperature control knob(s) clockwise to the desired temperature. Thermostatic controls will
automatically keep the cooking surface at the desired temperature.
NOTE: Chrome plated griddles generally can be operated at lower cooking temperature than a
standard griddle.
2.
AFTER EACH ORDER
•
To keep the griddle clean and food flavors at their best, scrape food residue from the griddle
surface and into the waste hole in the grease trough at the front of the griddle.
•
For grooved griddle surfaces, ust the special scraper provided with the griddle.
IMPORTANT!
•
For optional chrome plated griddles, use a 10 cm wide razor-type scraper to prevent
scratching the griddle surface while scraping.
•
Do not use anything on the griddle surface that could scratch it. Do not bang or tap pots,
•
pans or spatulas on the chrome surface.
•
Scratching or denting the chromed griddle surface will decrease performance and can destroy
the chrome plating.
3.
AFTER EACH 2 - 3 ORDERS
•
Wipe griddle surface with a cloth or brush dipped in cooking oil.
•
Apply only a light coating of cooking oil to the griddle surface.
