64 CONNECTION TO AN EXTERNAL
CHRONOTHERMOSTAT
It is possible to connect an external chronothermostat,
which extinguishes and ignites the stove depending on
the programmed temperature.
An external thermostat must be connected to terminals
1 and 2 in the block found on the rear of the stove. In
the factory standard, these terminals are connected to
an external sensor. Disconnect the external sensor and
connect the thermostat's two contacts in its place.
It is important to set the stove to configuration 2,
proceeding according to the instructions given in the
"Initial configuration" section.
After installation of the chronothermostat, the first
firing of the stove must be performed manually, when
the chronothermostat is in "call" mode Proceed in the
same manner after power failure as well as after manual
shutdown of the stove
To prevent the thermostat's operation from interfering with
the time intervals of the stove's work, it is recommended
to deactivate (set to OFF) the stove's time breaker switch
65 ADJUSTMENT OF TWO REAR FANS
(ONLY JØTUL PF 1230 S)
