Test■item
Pedal 4 check Checks whether the Sustain Pedal (Pedal 4) works properly or not.
(Sustain)
1) Connect the Sustain Pedal (Foot switch FC4) to the [SUSTAIN] terminal before
turning on the power.
2) Press the [F#3] key of the keyboard. When testing is started, the C3 sine wave sound
is produced.
3) When the sustain pedal is pressed, the C4 sine wave sound is produced.
4) When the pedal is released, the C4 sine wave sound is stoped and the test result is
OK. For the NG test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced continuously (until
any key is pressed).
5) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
MIDI/USB check Checks whether the MIDI/USB work properly or not.
1) Install the USB-MIDI driver to the PC and make the through setting.
2) Using the USB cable, connect the [USB] terminal of the PC and the [TO HOST]
terminal of this unit.
3) Press the [E2] key of the keyboard.
4) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced (for 1 second).
For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sound is produced (continuously until any
key is pressed).
5) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
ROM Executes the ROM checksum connected to the CPU bus (Full address). (It will take about
(Master ROM)
12 seconds.)

1) Press the [C5] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced (for 1 second).
3) For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sound is produced (continuously until any
key is pressed).
4) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
RAM check 2 Executes the RAM verification connected to the CPU bus (Full address).
1) Press the [D5] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced (for 1 second).
3) For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sound is produced (continuously until any
key is pressed).
4) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
As execution of this test causes the entire data on RAM to be rewritten, it is necessary to
execute initialization after this test.
Wave ROM Executes the Wave ROM checksum connected to the CPU bus (Full address). (It will take
check 2 about 30 seconds.)
1) Press the [E5] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced (for 1 second).
3) For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sound is produced (continuously until any
key is pressed).
4) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
Effect RAM Executes the Effect RAM verification connected to the CPU bus (Full address). (It will take
check 2 about 30 seconds.)
1) Press the [G5] key, and testing is executed.
2) For the OK test result, the C4 sine wave sound is produced (for 1 second).
3) For the NG test result, the C2 sine wave sound is produced (continuously until any
key is pressed).
4) Press the lowest key to exit the TEST item.
