Turning on/off

Mains connection
The VIP XD includes a mains power supply with four primary adapters and
terminal block. The VIP XD does not have a power switch. The unit is ready for
operation as soon as it is connected to the power supply.
Warning!
To operate the VIP XD, use exclusively the power supply unit supplied
with the correct primary adapter for your mains socket. Use suitable
equipment where necessary to ensure that the mains supply is free of
interference such as voltage surges, spikes or voltage drops.
Warning!
Only connect the VIP XD to the mains supply once everything else has
been connected.
– Connect the cable to the power supply unit and the orange terminal block of
the VIP XD.
– Ensure that the correct primary adapter is attached to the power supply unit
and an appropriate mains socket is available.
– Plug the power supply unit into a grounded mains socket. The unit is ready
for operation as soon as the "operating status" LED stops flashing red during
start-up and is lit green.
If the network connection is in order, the green L LED is also lit. The flashing
orange T LED indicates data traffic on the network.
