Complete the Installation
Water-Resistant Wall

Carefully remove the protective tape from the bath rim.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant to the nailing-in flange.
Cover the framing with water-resistant wall material.
Apply silicone sealant between the water-resistant wall material and the edge of
the rim.
Tape and mud the water-resistant wall material.
NOTICE: When selecting finished wall material, do not exceed 1-1/2" (3.8 cm)
thickness. This will ensure the finished wall material will overlap the integral apron
columns.
Install the finished wall material 1/4" (6 mm) above the bath deck. This will create
a groove to apply the silicone sealant.
NOTE: When applying sealant between the finished wall and the rim, RTV (Room
Temperature Vulcanizing) silicone sealant is recommended.
Apply a bead of silicone sealant in the groove between the finished wall and the
rim.
NOTICE: When selecting finished floor material, do not exceed 2" (5.1 cm) thickness.
This will ensure the integral apron will be flush with the finished floor.
Install the finished floor material.
Install the faucet trim according to the manufacturer's instructions.
