8. Troubleshooting

Customer Assistance
If your product has functioning problems, check the probable causes and corrections. If the suggested correc-
tions are not sufficient, call the Electrolux Service Center.

Probable Causes
The "Washing Programs" knob is not
positioned correctly.
The LED light of the "ON/OFF" key is not
ON.
The washing machine is in the soak step.
The plug is not properly plugged in the
socket.
The electrical circuit (socket, wires, circuit
breaker) is in bad condition.
Blackout.
The washing machine lid is opened.
It is being used with adaptor or extension
cord.
The supply voltage is low.
Wrong voltage.
The Delicate program was selected.
The drain hose water is too high.
The end of the drain hose in the laundry
sink is submerged in water.
The lid of the washing machine is open.
The drain hose is folded or strangled.
The washing machine is not leveled.
The washing machine is against the wall
or furniture.
The clothes are badly distributed in the
drum.
The package base has not been removed.
Noise during spin.
Noise during the start of spin.
Correction
Place the knob on the chosen program.
Press the key and wait for 5 seconds.
Please wait until the end of the soak step.
Check the plug and the socket where the
washing machine is connected.
Check the electrical circuit, and if neces-
sary, call an electrician.
Wait for the power to resume.
Close the lid.
Do not use adaptors or extension cords,
replace the socket.
Call an electrician to check the electric net
voltage in your home.
Check the correct voltage for your washing
machine.
During the Delicate washing the agitation
is slower to not damage clothing. Does not
require correction.
Place the hose to a maximum height of
140 cm.
Do not let the end of the drain hose stay
submerged when the laundry sink is full.
Close the lid.
Unfold or clean the drain hose.
Level the washing machine and make sure
the floor is not irregular.
Move the washing machine away from the
wall or furniture.
Distribute the clothes correctly and do not
wrap them in the agitator.
Remove all package parts.
The drain pump is turned ON causing a
characteristic noise, which is normal.
It is normal for noise to occur in some cases,
when there is contact between the tank
and the inside of the washing machie. This
does not affect the operation of the washing
machine.
