Registering coded speed dialling
numbers and names
Use coded speed dialling to dial a fax number at the press of three buttons. A fax/telephone number up to
50 digits can be registered under each two-digit speed dialling code (01-50) and you can register up to 50
locations. You can also register the name of the party (up to 16 letters) and a voice tag*; the name appears
on the printout of the coded speed dialling list.

Press [Function].

Use [3] or [4] to select TEL REGISTRATION.

Press [Start/Copy].

Use [3] or [4] to select CODED SPEED DIAL.

Press [Start/Copy].

Use [3] or [4] to select the two-digit code under
which you want to register the number.
If a number is already registered under this coded speed
dialling code, the number is displayed on the LCD.**

Enter the party's number and name the same way
you registered them for one-touch speed dialling.
See steps 5 to 8, Registering one-touch speed dialling
numbers and names, p. 2-10.

Register the party's voice tag the same way you
registered it for one-touch speed dialling (see
pp. 2-10, 2-13).

To assign additional coded speed dialling numbers,
start from step 4.
To finish, press [Stop].
* FAX-B140 only.
** To delete the name and number registered under the coded speed dialling code, press [Clear]
and [Start/Copy] after you perform steps 1 to 4 above.
