Audio concept

The audio concept includes an earpiece, a microphone, and a Pop-Port
handsfree (IHF). Audio is based on ASIC's UPP_WD2, UEMEK and a discrete amplifier for the handsfree speaker
known as "boomer".
Between UPP_WD2 and UEMEK, the audio signals are transferred in digital format using signals MICDATA and
EARDATA. Ringing tones and warning/info tones are to be produced to the IHF speaker.
Earpiece
The earpiece used in this mobile is an 8-mm Pico earpiece. It has 32 Ω continuous impedance and continuous
power 8 mW. It is driven by differential signals from UEMEK (EARP & EARN). It makes contact with the PWB via
spring contacts.
