Step 25: You are now ready to align the carriage right
or left. (You have already adjusted the bowl in or
out).With the alignment tool over the pocket, press
the jaw by hand, down into the pocket. The pin needs
to lower fully into the hole. To move the carriage left or
right, you need to change the number (black arrow).
Increase to move the carriage to the left, decrease to
move it to the right. Start by increments of 10. (Exam-
ple: 5105...change to 5115). Press 'Perform Basic
test' (red arrow)The carriage will move quickly a
small amount. Press the jaw down again and visually
see how close you are to the center. Keep adding/sub-
tracting as needed for the tool tip until fully inserted.
IMPORTANT: When you are satisfied, you MUST
press 'Set Sorter Bowl' after you enter the number.
This will set the location. The new number will appear
in the 'Stored Pickup Locations' (blue arrow).
Step 27: The last step is to press the circle 'C stick
Tool Test' (arrow).
Step 29: NOTE: Unplug power & comm cables.
With the CrystalPress back on its top, you can NOW
tighten the nylon nuts with the 11/32" socket wrench.
These nuts need to be tight so the bowl does not move
in or out. Replace the bottom pan cover with the 7
screws.
Step 26: Remove the alignment tool, and place the
c-stick in the jaw. With a 6ss wheel in the bowl and
6ss stones, you are ready to test the alignment one
step further.
Step 28: With the Control Center open, press and
hold Ctrl/Alt/P. You will see 3 more tabs open. Press
'Perform Alignment Test'
the upper right will open. Enter 20 (amount of stones)
(Blue arrow). Press 'Perform Test' (Black arrow).
20 stones should be placed on the media if the align-
ment is correct. If you are pleased with the results,
empty the stones, remove the media.
the power cord and the communication cable.
Turn the CrystalPress over.
Step 30: Turn back over, plug in power/comm cables
and you are ready to resume running stones.
