Step 17: This is how the bowl should appear
Step 19: With the 11/32" socket wrench, tighten
(clock wise) down the nuts until they just touch the
bracket plate. NOTE: You will fully tighten later.
The reason for this is you will still need to move
the bowl in or out for alignment. Turn the Crys-
talPress back over.
Step 21: Open up the Control Center and click on
Sorter Bowl Pickup Location' (arrow).
Step 23: Press the 'Perform Basic Test' (Red arrow).
The carriage will move to the assigned bowl and lower
the tool. The goal is for the tool tip to be FULLY
inserted into the pocket hole.
Step 18: Turn the CrystalPress over on its top again.
NOTE: Make sure that you have support to pre-
vent the machine from tipping back.
Step 20: You need to re-calibrate the new bowl
with the alignment tool (arrow). (This tool tip can be
screwed on the c-stick body). Place this tool in the jaw
and clamp tight.
PLUG IN THE POWER & COMMU-
NICATION CHORDS and TURN ON.
Step 22: Click on the sorter bowl number (1 or 2) that
you replaced (Blue arrow) Then click on the 'Alignment
Tool Test' (Red arrow). At this time, leave the 'Current
Location To Test' number alone (Yellow arrow).
Step 24: Once the carriage is over the area, it will
lower the tool tip into the pocket. If it is NOT aligned,
you can push the bowl in or out to align in that axis.
Once aligned in that axis, you can tighten the 3 screws
on the outside of the bowl. NOTE: The left/right
alignment is next. See (step 25).
