Chapter 3 Setting

3.3.3 Setting network variables

Assign the common memory of the FL-net to the system network variables.
This operation allows the user programs on the controller to use the cyclic data
of the common memory Area 1 and Area 2 communicated via cyclic
transmission of the FL-net as network variables.
Registering transmission blocks
For Word No., specify the first word No. of each area. For Word Len., specify
the number of words to be used from the first word.
For Talker Node, select the target FL911.

Select the [FL-netLAN] folder in Network Folder, and select [Scan Memory] in
the lower right part of the screen. Select [File] [Transmission Block] to start
the transmission block edit screen.
Specify the cyclic transmission common memory area transmitted by the
FL911.
The cyclic transmission common memory area consists of Area 1 and Area
2.
Area 1 is set to word numbers from 0 to 511. Area 2 is set to word numbers
from 512 to 8703. For each area, one area can be specified for use.

 Since there are constraints in assignment, refer to 7.3 Usage Constraints.
