There are swing mechanisms where you could
trap your fingers.
– Be careful when using, swinging, disassembling
or adjusting these mechanisms.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage to the leg rest mechanism
– Do not place anything heavy, or let children
sit on the leg rest.

3.7.1 Elevating Leg rests

The elevating leg rests are fitted in pairs to the
wheelchair. When adjusting or removing, remember
that there is one elevating leg rest for the right hand
side and another for the left hand side.
The leg rests shown are leg rest supports with an integral
pad for supporting the lower leg. The leg rests can be
swung away and removed.
Using:
The operations for swing away and removing are the same
as for the footrest supports.
Adjusting:

To adjust the angle of the leg rest, lift it upwards to the
angle required. To lower the leg rest, hold the leg in one
hand and operate the release lever A with the other hand.
Lower to the required position.
The calf support pad can be pivoted when folding the
wheelchair. The position can also be set on the mounting
tube in one of three locations .It can also be set along the
mounting tube by sliding into the chosen location B.

3.7.2 Foot plate Assemblies

Independent foot plates for footrest supports
The foot plate assemblies comprise of an adjustment tube
and foot plate and are intended solely as a foot support
when you are sitting in the wheelchair and should not be
used for standing. Each foot plate assembly can be adjusted
in height. The foot plates can be pivoted to an upright
position to aid front transfers.
