    1-1. For safe use Before driving Floor mat Use only floor mats designed specifically for vehicles of the same model and model year as your vehicle. Fix them securely in place onto the carpet. Insert the retaining hooks (clips) into the floor mat eyelets.

    1-2. Hybrid system Hybrid system features Your vehicle is a hybrid vehicle. It has characteristics different from conven- tional vehicles. Be sure you are closely familiar with the characteristics of your vehicle, and operate it with care. The hybrid system combines the use of a gasoline engine and an electric motor (traction motor) according to driving conditions, improving fuel effi- ciency and reducing exhaust emissions.

Instrument cluster Warning lights and indicators The warning lights and indicators on the instrument cluster, center panel and outside rear view mirrors inform the driver of the status of the vehicle’s vari- ous systems. For the purpose of explanation, the following illustration displays all warning lights and indicators illuminated.
