Check Extension Kit for Heating Circuit with Mixing Valve

With comfortrol menu driven progamming unit'
1. Check via Scan 1 on the programming unit whether
the connected extension kit is recognized.
Calling up Scan 1
Open the cover:
Menu option
  SYSTEM

Note: The third and fourth-placed digits
from the left have the following meaning:
(__02__ = with burner control unit
(__12__)= additionally with Vitocom 100
(__03__ = with burner control unit and variable
speed heat circuit pump
(__13__)= additionally with Vitocom 100
(__06__ = with burner control unit and extension
kit for heating circuit with mixing valve
(__16__)= additionally with Vitocom 100
(__07__ = with burner control unit, extension kit
for heating circuit with mixing valve and
variable speed heat circuit pump
(__17__)= additionally with Vitocom 100
2. If the extension kit is not recognized, check the
coding of the heating system type (see page 50).
Note: The extension kit is only recognized when
connected via the KM-BUS, not when
connected via the Viessmann 2-wire BUS.
With standard progamming unit'
1. Set the heating program selector switch to "T".
2. Set rotary selector "s" to "-6".
3. Simultaneously press keys "u" and "1-7".
4. Evaluate the dispay.
5. Check the correct installation if the extension
module or Vitotronic 050 are not recognized.
Note: A green LED on the expansion module flashes if
the data bus is active. The data cable "X 5.3" -
"X 5.4" may be interchanged, if the LED is not lit.
