Never run the engine if the battery is
not connected. The alternator and
electrical system could be seriously
damaged.

5.3.2 Battery power reserve

Before first use, fully charge the bat-
tery.
For battery charging procedures see
9.10.

SEAT (7)

1.
Disassemble the following components from
the seat support:
4 Nuts (for locking during transport, will
not be used further).
4 Screws (7:K).
4 Washers with shoulders (7:L).
4 Grower washers (7:R).

Place the seat on its rest in the seat support.
3.
Fit the shoulder washers (7:L) to the screws
(7:K), complete with washers (7:R).
4.
Insert the screws complete with shoulder
washers into the seat support slots and seat
plate holes. Screw the seat into position.
Tightening torque 9±1.7 Nm.
The seat will be damaged if the screws
are tightened to a torque greater than
9 ± 1.7 Nm.

Check that the seat slides easily in the
bracket slots.
The seat is reclinable. If the car is left outside in
the rain, fold the seat forward to prevent the cush-
ion from getting wet.

STEERING WHEEL (8)

To minimise the axial play of the steering column,
fit the 0.5 mm and/or 1 mm shim washers (3:C;
3:B) on the steering column between the sleeves
pos. (8:A) as follows.
1.
Fit the sleeve (8:B) on the steering column
and secure it by inserting one of the pins
(8:C) about 1/3 of its length.
2.
Pull the sleeve and the steering column up-
wards.
3.
Check that the 0.5 mm washer, the 1 mm
washer or both can be inserted into the
opening created at point (8:A). The washer(s)
must not be forced, as there must be a slight
axial play.

4.
Extract the pin (8:C) with the pin punch (8:D)
and remove the sleeve.
5.
Fit the washer(s) as determined in step 3
above.
6.
Fit the sleeve onto the steering column and
secure by fully inserting the pins. Lock the
steering column.

TOW BAR (9)

Fit the tow bar (9:B) to the rear of the machine.
Use the screws and nuts (9:A; 9:C).
Tightening torque 22 Nm.

QUICK RELEASE SUPPORTS (1:N)

The quick release supports and related instal-
lation instructions are supplied in a separate
package located in the machine's packaging.
Install the quick release supports on the front
machine semi-axles.

TYRE PRESSURE

For tyre pressure see chap. "0 TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATION TABLE"

ATTACHMENTS

To mount attachments, see the separate assem-
bly guide supplied with each attachment.
N.B. In this case the cutting device as-
sembly is considered an attachment.
6.1
MECHANICAL ATTACHMENT LIFT PED-
AL (10:C)
It controls the lever (10:C1) used to bring the
attachments from the working position to the
transport position.
• Transport position: fully press the pedal down
and remove your foot, the pedal remains down.
• Working position: slowly press and release the
pedal.
Do not switch to the transport position
while the attachment is running. This
would destroy the drive belt.

PARKING BRAKE PEDAL (10:B)

Never press the pedal while driving.
There is a risk of overheating the transmis-
