Resetting all settings

When it is hard to correct some wrong settings, the FACTORY RESET function of
SERVICE item in OPTION menu (73) can reset all settings (except settings such
as AUTO BLANK, STANDBY MODE, LANGUAGE, LAMP TIME, FILTER TIME,
FILTER MESSAGE, SECURITY and NETWORK) to the factory default. Be sure to
set ALTITUDE after resetting all the settings ( 67).

About the phenomenon confused with a machine defect, check and cope with it
according to the following table.

Correctly connect the power cord.
Th e m a i n p o w e r s o u r c e h a s b e e n i n t e r r u p t e d d u r i n g
o p e r a t i o n s u c h a s b y a p o w e r o u t a g e ( b l a c k o u t ) , e t c .
Please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet,
and allow the projector to cool down at least 10 minutes,
then turn the power on again.
E i t h e r t h e r e i s n o l a m p a n d / o r l a m p c o v e r , o r e i t h e r
of these has not been properly fixed.
Please turn the power off and disconnect the power
plug from the power outlet, and allow the projector to
cool down at least 45 minutes. After the projector has
sufficiently cooled down, please make confirmation of
the attachment state of the lamp and lamp cover, and
then turn the power on again.
Th e s i g n a l c a b l e s a r e n o t c o r r e c t l y c o n n e c t e d .
Correctly connect the connection cables.
S i g n a l s o u r c e d o e s n o t c o r r e c t l y w o r k .
Correctly set up the signal source device by referring to
the manual of the source device.
Th e i n p u t c h a n g e o v e r s e t t i n g s a r e m i s m a t c h e d .
Select the input signal, and correct the settings.
Th e B L A NK f u n c t i o n f o r p i c t u r e s a n d t h e M UTE
f u n c t i o n f o r s o u n d s a r e w o r k i n g .
AV MUTE may be active.
Refer to the item "Sound does not come out" and "No
pictures are displayed" on the next page to turn off the
MUTE and BLANK functions.
