REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE

Turn power switch "OFF" before beginning repair or maintenance:
• Read the instructions
• Remove charger plug
• Turn the power switch off
q Front Wheel Replacement
Tool Required: Two (2) 5 mm Allen Wrenches.

Using two (2) 5 mm Allen wrenches, loosen the axle bolt.
Remove wheel and install replacement wheel.
(Note the sequence of the hardware)
q Rear Wheel/Motor Replacement
Tool Required: Phillips Screwdriver and Two (2) 13 mm Wrenches.

Using a Phillips screwdriver,
remove the deck plate and lift the
battery out of the tray.

Using a Phillips screwdriver,
remove the two (2) screws that
attach the motor housing to
the frame.
• Secure the unit under repair
• Exercise caution around
exposed parts

Using a Phillips screwdriver,
remove the cable-clamping block
and disconnect the motor connector
from the controller.

To reinstall the wheel/motor,
reverse steps 4 through 1, taking
care to use a wrench to hold the
inside locking nut, while tightening
the outside axle nut (shown).

if unsure about any repair or
maintenance

Using a 13 mm wrench loosen
the outside locknut (14-6). Use a
13 mm wrench to prevent the inside
nut (14-3) from turning.

Reconnect the motor connector,
reinstall the cable clamping block
(shown), and reposition the battery and
replace cover, tighten cover screws.
