Manual Mobile Satellite Antennas (Require Pointing)
To use your ViP 211z receiver to assest with point your manual mobile satellite antenna,
follow these instructions:

Connect your ViP 211z receiver to your TV.

Connect your ViP 211z receiver to a power outlet. Wait a few minutes.

Follow the on-screen Installation Wizard to pair your remote.

Let Step 2 of 5 of the Installation Wizard complete until you see a pop-up asking you to
make sure that all cables leading to the receiver are connected correctly and securely. Do
not press Continue.

Connect the satellite feed (RG-6 coaxial cable) from your satellite antenna to the back of
your ViP 211z receiver.

Press the * (STAR) key on the DISH remote control.

Use the Point Dish screen to assist with pointing your manual mobile satellite antenna.

After your manual mobile satellite antenna is pointed correctly, select Check Switch.

Select Test. The Check Switch test should complete correctly if the manual mobile
satellite antenna is pointed correctly. Status is indicated by a green bar corresponding to
the satellites that your manual mobile satellite antenna was able to locate.

Select Done in the Installation Summary screen.

Select Done in the Point Dish screen.

Select Continue on Step 2 of 5 screen for the Installation Wizard.

Follow the prompts for the other screens of the Installation Wizard to complete setup.
