12 - FLOW MEASUREMENT DEVICE
12.1 - Description
A diaphragm measures the returned air flow rate through the
ICM.
The total air flow treated by the ICM is the sum of the
returned air flow and the fresh air flow. The diaphragm is
accurate, reliable, fast and silent. Using an electronic pressure
gauge it is possible to determine the air flow simply by
interpolating from a chart provided on the unit.
NOTE:
To measure the air flow, there must be a straight length of
duct at least four times as long as its own diameter located
upstream of the diaphragm.
