1. BEFORE YOU BEGIN
A. INTRODUCTION
Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize
yourself with the required tools, materials, and installation
sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your partic-
ular installation. This will help you avoid costly mistakes.
In addition to proper installation, read all operating and
safety instructions.
2. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS
A. SUMMARY OF KEY REQUIREMENTS

Observe all local plumbing and building codes.

Install the unit level with the subfloor.
S
Provide properly-dimensioned framing.
S
Make sure the drain location corresponds to the
bath outlet.
S
Before you begin any work, carefully uncrate and in-
spect the new bath for any damage. Enameled cast
iron may chip; make sure there is no damage to the
new bath. If there is a problem, do not install the bath
– report the problem to the dealer immediately.
B. PRODUCT INSPECTION
Carefully uncrate and inspect the bath for damage.
