Installation sequence
Installing the DHW cylinder
Safety valve (T&P valve)
Always install to protect the DHW cylin-
der against excessive temperatures.
■ Permissible operating pressure 6 bar.
Max. operating temperature 95 °C.
■ Ensure the safety valve cannot be shut
off from the DHW cylinder.
■ Never seal off the discharge pipe.
Ensure that any expelled water is
safely and visibly drained into a drain-
age system. Place a sign on the safety
valve with the following inscription:
For safety reasons, hot water
(95 °C) may be discharged from the
discharge pipe during heating.
Arrange the hot water drain so that any
discharged hot water or steam cannot
represent a risk to individuals or dam-
age the system and materials in or on
the building.

Connecting the solar lines

■ Use stainless steel corrugated pipes
(on site) for the connections on the
solar side.
■ Max. length of solar lines 3.0 m
■ Thermally insulate the solar lines, min.

Please note
DHW with temperatures in
excess of 60 °C can cause scald-
ing.
To limit the temperature to 60 °C,
install a mixing device.
